End of the year is here, and what better way to end it then making a photo retrospective of it. I decided to join Photography Lovers End of Year Contest. I will go through my gallery and chose 1 or 2 photos from each month. Hopefully, it will not be too much, because, first I wanted to chose one per month, but then I realize I had more interesting photos then I thought, and wanted to do 2 per month. Even thought it wasn't the greatest and most exciting year, turned out I did make some cool photos (in my opinion).
Prepare for many photos of animals, coffee, nature, and some other things.
JANUARY
In January I made one of my favorite photos of the entire year, and that would be photo of my dog, Teddy, in snow. We had few snowy days in January and I was home so I enjoyed outside with my dog and made few photos. We are lucky we have big yard and places close to us, to go and enjoy nature. Rest of January I was back in Belgrade preparing exams.
FEBRUARY
First part of February I was still in Belgrade and mostly in apartment, which means not many things to take photo of, but I always like to take coffee photos and I was happy to make this one after many boring days.
Other part of February I was back home, which means more animals photos. I love to take photos of my dog Teddy, and my cat Tom, and Maza lives next door. I take photos of all of them, but I have to say Maza is the best model that I have, it's as if she knows what I am doing :D
MARCH
This month wasn't so special or interesting for me. I had more photos of my pets and nature started to come to life. I would chose one photo of trees and old building that I took on my way to my sister. Something I like abotu this photo. I don't know what.
APRIL
In April I applied for one short seminar about graphic design. It was new and amazing experience for me. Specially with online classes and most places still closed, it was amazing to be among people again and learn new things.
MAY
First weekend in May it was Ortodox Easter. This year we decided not to decorate eggs too much and we did it all with natural colors. This is why we ended up with plane pastel eggs, but I liked them.
In May we got kittens, and these two lovebirds become parents just few days after this photo was taken. We got two kittens, one looked more like Tom, other one like Maza.
JUNE
June had by far the best event this year. My best friend gave birth to baby boy. I will not share his photo but here is photo of the sky that day. Probably hottest day in the entire year.
JULY
July I spent at home, you can guess, lots of animals and nature photos. But I already mentioned there would be many coffee photos so here is another one, probably my favorite from this year. It was from my garden where I enjoyed it almost daily in July, so perfectly shows how my July looked like.
Second photo that I will chose from July is photo of wall painting I finished that time. I like to draw a lot, but big paintings are quite challenging. Here is Little Prince from my room :)
AUGUST
In August, after 2 years I back to the sea side, to same place I visited for years. Many, many great memories there. Even thought it was different this year, it was great to feel salty water on my skin again.
SEPTEMBER
September was worst month for me this year. I was almost completely alone entire month, and I usually don't mind being alone, but some other things lined up and it was not the best time over all. But that doesn't mean I didn't make any good photo and nothing good happened. Here is photo from football match I attended which always makes me happy and full of energy. And another coffee photo, when I managed to capture rainbow in my coffee in my pretty gray apartment at the time.
OCTOBER
October went by so quickly. I was back home for longer period, which means many animals and nature photos. Kittens were bigger by this time but hard to caught on photo. Also I am adding photo from train station from one foggy morning. I do love to travel by train, and the route I go by is very specific and has amazing nature almost all the way.
NOVEMBER
November also passed very quickly I was on relation home-Belgrade, Belgrade-home. One weekend my brother came to Belgrade and we had nice time. We had a walk by Danube where I captured beautiful swans.
First snow was there early, by the end of November. Lasted shortly, and it was almost all melted by next day, but Teddy and I enjoyed it a bit that night :)
DECEMBER
And here we are, December. I saw two first snows this year, one in hometown in November, and second one in Belgrade. It lasted few days but there was a lot snow, and it fall all day. This photo I took in park near my place, everything was white and magical. I wasn't in Belgrade many times with so much snow.

I know my photos are not the best, but I enjoy taking them and I like this challenge a lot. Maybe I didn't even chose the single best I made, but I wanted to look back on this year, and each month and what made it special for me.
This year wasn't the best one in my life. It's difficult times that we all go through.
