I felt discouraged for this week's theme. I don't have any macro lens nor anything capable of capturing teeny details. That meant not participating, which is a bummer, since these contests are fun; and a great way to engage with other photographers. When I was about to give up an idea occurred me.
Mom had a compact Samsung camera that I took to Patagonia back in 2017. It was the simplest of the cameras that only allowed for auto settings. However, it had a bunch of presets to play with. One of the presets was macro. Back to the contest: I remember there was pictures of a fat-ass bee in my archives, taken with the very Samsung compact of years ago. Being the camera so cheap and basic, the photos quality wasn't the greatest, but I opted to tweak them in Photoshop's Camera raw. I think it turned out pretty cool.
Camera: Samsung point-and-shoot compact camera
Settings: Macro preset (full auto)
Edit: Tried my best to give the photos some life in Photoshop camera raw
