Greetings, friends of the community,
I would say that 70% of my attention is focused on the birds flying around me. It's almost instinctive. Even when I'm doing street photography and trying to concentrate on the stories around me, I don't always succeed... and the birds are to blame. Oh, and I'm not complaining, on the contrary, it makes me very happy.
Here's an example of how a simple outing on the street ends up turning into a birding session.

Diría que el 70% de mi atención está enfocada en las aves que vuelan a mi alrededor. Ya es casi un instinto. Incluso cuando estoy haciendo street photography e intento concentrarme en las historias que me rodean, no siempre lo consigo… y las culpables son las aves. Ah, y no me quejo, al contrario, eso me hace muy feliz.
Aquí les traigo una muestra de cómo una simple salida callejera termina convirtiéndose en una sesión de birding.

Water is essential for all living beings, so it is not uncommon to see park fountains filled with birds enjoying a bath or simply drinking.
El agua es esencial para todos los seres vivos, por eso no es raro ver las fuentes de los parques llenas de aves disfrutando de un baño o simplemente bebiendo.

Sometimes I go somewhere to eat something, and suddenly, in the distance, I see a species... and I rush out with my camera in hand. I can't help it.
And they don't have to be rare birds, they are often common species, but I love them anyway.
A veces me pasa que entro a algún lugar para comer algo, y de pronto, a lo lejos, veo una especie…y salgo disparado con la cámara en mano. No lo puedo evitar.
Y no tienen que ser aves raras, muchas veces son especies comunes, pero igual me encantan.

In the end, you have to do what you're passionate about, because that's what gives you life. And if in the process we help raise awareness about protecting the environment and birds, then it's a double win.
