An unexpected model in freestyle battles [Eng/Esp]

Almost two weeks ago I attended a freestyle event, this was the first one of the year so I didn't want to miss it. Of course, I brought my camera to take some pictures and I was planning to enjoy the event, so I intended to take just a few pictures and then just relax. Upon arrival a girl caught my attention, first because most of the time there are few girls that attend freestyle events at least here where I live and also because of the amount of tattoos she had, so I asked her if I could take some pictures and I share with you the result.

Hace casi dos semanas asistí a un evento de freestyle, este fue el primero del año por lo que no me lo quería perder. Por supuesto, llevé mi cámara para realizar algunas fotografías y tenía pensado disfrutar del evento, por lo que tenía intenciones de hacer solo unas cuantas fotos y luego simplemente relajarme. Al llegar una chica captó mi atención, primero porque en la mayoría de ocasiones son contadas las chicas que asisten a eventos de freestyle por lo menos aquí donde vivo y también por la cantidad de tatuajes que tenía, por lo que le pregunté si le podía hacer algunas fotografías y les comparto el resultado.

Another thing I want to mention is that she also participated, she battled against local rappers and gave an excellent level. She was the only person I took pictures of outside of the battles and I did it because the sunlight was right at the golden hour and I wanted to take advantage of it with her. I also took pictures of other participants, but clearly while they were in the battles, it is what I usually do when I attend these events, in this case I took pictures of Dafp, one of the local rappers who performs best in the field.

Otra cosa que quiero mencionar es que ella también participó, batalló contra raperos locales y dio un excelente nivel. Ella fue la única persona que le hice fotografías fuera de las batallas y lo hice porque la luz del sol estaba justo en la hora dorada y quise aprovechar con ella. También hice fotografías a otros participantes, pero claramente mientras estos estaban en las batallas, es lo que más acostumbro a hacer cuando asisto a estos eventos, en este caso le hice a Dafp, uno de los raperos locales que mejor se desenvuelven en el ámbito.

And finally I took pictures of another participant who was just hanging out with the girl at the beginning, who, by the way, her stage name is Kore. What I enjoy most about taking these pictures is trying to capture the essence of the moment, in many occasions the competitors are so focused on the battles that they don't usually notice the magic they transmit when they are waiting for their moment to shine and this is something that I find interesting to capture in the pictures. I hope you find these photographs as interesting as Kore's, although they clearly have a big difference.

Y por último le realicé fotografías a otro participante que justo andaba con la chica del principio, quien, por cierto, su nombre artístico es Kore. Lo que más disfruto de realizar estas fotografías es intentar captar la esencia del momento, en muchas ocasiones los competidores están tan centrados en las batallas que no suelen notar la magia que transmiten cuando esperan por su momento de brillar y esto es algo que me parece interesante de plasmar en las fotografías. Espero que estas fotografías les parezcan igual de interesantes como las de Kore, aunque claramente tengan una gran diferencia.
