My first jewelry photography session [Eng/Esp]

Greetings dear photography lovers, I hope you have had an excellent start of the week and that everyone is feeling great. Today I want to share some very special pictures for me, they are the first product photographs I do and these are for a virtual store that a friend has started and she was interested in me taking the pictures, which I thank her, because as I mentioned, I had not done this kind of pictures before, so I honestly did not know how the result would be, so I leave you with the pictures, I hope you like them.

Saludos queridos amantes de la fotografía, espero hayan tenido un excelente inicio de semana y que todos se encuentren genial. El día de hoy quiero compartir unas fotografías muy especiales para mí, son las primeras fotografías de producto que hago y estas son para una tienda virtual que una amiga ha empezado y estuvo interesada en que yo le hiciera las fotografías, cosa que le agradezco, porque como bien les menciono, no había hecho este tipo de fotografías antes, así que no sabía honestamente qué tal sería el resultado, por lo que les dejo con las fotografías, espero les gusten.

The way we worked was somewhat improvised, we only agreed on the day we would meet and then we would see what to do. I told her from the beginning that she had to know that it was a type of photography that I was not used to and had no practice at all, so if she wanted to continue even knowing that, I had no problem. She had some ideas of what she wanted, the real problem was the background we would use, we didn't have anything similar to what was seen in the reference photos, but we improvised with things like a mirror, some fabrics and we loved it.

La forma en que trabajamos fue algo improvisada, sólo acordamos el día en que nos reuniríamos y luego iríamos viendo qué hacer. Yo desde un principio le dije que tenía que saber que era un tipo de fotografía al que no estaba acostumbrado ni tenía nada de práctica, así que, si aun sabiendo eso quería seguir, no tenía problema. Ella tenía algunas ideas de lo que quería, el verdadero problema era el fondo que utilizaríamos, no teníamos nada similar a lo que se apreciaba en las fotografías de referencia, pero improvisamos con cosas como un espejo, unas telas y nos encantó.

A great advantage was that we used a light ring that my friend has and we also helped ourselves with the flashlight of our phones to brighten some places with the light and again, it was also my first time using a light ring, clearly there are many things that I still have to learn and that's why I try to do whatever I can, because at the end of the day, whether it goes well or not, the experience will be there to do it better next time, but if I am very honest, I loved the result and I was impressed for my first time.

Una gran ventaja fue que utilizamos un aro de luz que tiene mi amiga y también nos ayudamos con la linterna de nuestros teléfonos para rellanar un poco algunos lugares con la luz y nuevamente, también era mi primera vez utilizando un aro de luz, claramente hay muchas cosas que todavía me queda por aprender y por eso intento hacer cualquier cosa que esté a mí alcance, porque a fin de cuentas, salga bien o mal, la experiencia estará allí para en una próxima oportunidad hacerlo mejor, pero si les soy muy honesto, el resultado me encantó y quedé impresionado para ser mí primera vez.
