I'm lucky to live not too far away from Sheffield which is a great spot for photography locations as well as having a wander for some street photography.
The shots in this post were taken one evening a few weeks ago when we headed out to see what we could see. I was aware too that it took me some shots to get into my rhythm. I'm not sure why this is, I've noticed that I struggle to feel comfortable doing any street style photography where I live too.
One of the first shots I took was of a busker that I have photographed before. I do like this kind of shot as its real and not posed
I am enjoying taking people shots in general, for the above reason that the shots are natural and not posed and it records a slice of life..
I also found a spot opposite a very brightly lit Virgin Money bank too which was great to sit and they photograph people as they walked past
Being an ever evolving and growing city too, Sheffield also has its fair share of construction with new buildings going up all the time..
As a photographer I try to mix what I do in my shots, I've done still life, some macro work, lightpainting and I enjoy a good model shoot. If you'd like to check out any of my other work I'm on Facebook, or you can find me on Instagram under neilru75
Thanks very much for looking
Kind Regards, Neil
