Revisiting some images I took a few months ago, this was a studio shoot with dancers from a local ballet school.
God knows how many bags of self raising flour they went through that day, but it was a lot of cakes and bread that went short that day!
The first shot below is my absolute favourite, and in fact after editing that shot; first, I felt there wasn't much point editing the rest as that was the best one!
A few weeks went by and I did go back to edit more, but this is still my favourite and captured exactly what I'd envisaged getting from the shoot that day..
Following this I wanted to do a close up crop of the same image to get the detail of the hair and the flour and swap to a landscape format..
After this a few more of the same ballet dancer who like all of them was amazingly talented..
There were 2 other dancers too, just as talented and graceful..
I don't shoot male models that often, and I don't know why. The young guy below, apologies I don't recall his name had a lot of powerin his stance and positions and well, they were all phenomenal that day..
As a photographer I try to mix what I do in my shots, I've done still life, some macro work, lightpainting and I enjoy a good model shoot. If you'd like to check out any of my other work I'm on Facebook, or you can find me on Instagram under neilru75
Thanks very much for looking
