Todays post is a simple one and possibly a short one as I'm about to start what could be a very boring course for work. Its an ITIL management course. As I've just said to my manager (after successfully completing the foundation course) "I'm not that confident about this one just yet. At least I've read the book already so I'm hoping so much has sunk in. In essence I sum it up as listen to the stakeholders, talk to them, and do it regularly! After that its all gravy lol
Apologies, back to the photos!
These shots were actually really easy to do and I think pretty effective too.
Firstly I downloaded some images of flowers, preferably on black backgrounds, (Disclaimer for the bots, I downloaded these from Google, these were not initially shot by me), and put them on my Kindle. I then suspended glass over the top of the Kindle on a multitude of books, and sprayed water onto the glass. It was that simple. Well I say that, getting the right amount of spray was tricky, then it would all merge into one puddle, so half the battle was to spray from a distance and then try quick fire little squirts (Please feel free to insert your own jokes here!). But in all seriousness it was a case of balancing a really abstract distorted image, or pulling it back to something more subtle and gentle, and when using flowers and petals, a delicate touch seemed the better way to go.
Surprisingly to me, these came out better on my phone camera rather than the DSLR. Quick edit to remove some glare from the bedroom window and to add a signature but straight out of camera apart from that.
Thanks very much for looking,
Kind Regards, Neil
