// Jugando con las sombras y el color //
>_ Hola amigos y bienvenidos a un nuevo post sobre fotografía, en esta ocasión para la comunidad de #PhotographyLovers.
Además de ser el primer post del año, si no es el primer post a color, si es uno de los pocos y más interesantes, al menos desde mi punto de vista.
Y es que no suelo publicar fotos a color, principalmente por que me gusta más la foto a blanco y negro, pero también por que creo que no se revelar correctamente los colores y termino saturando demasiado los tonos.
Uno de mis propósitos para este año es precisamente el subir fotos a color, ser más sincero con lo que la foto me pide y con la visión inicial que tengo al tomarla, no forzando todo mi trabajo al blanco y negro.
Así en esta primer foto (foto superior), un vendedor ambulante se encuadró entre dos pilares, quedando enmarcado entre sombras. Su sombra se logra ver casi al completo en el suelo.
Quizá hubiera podido disparar un poco antes, tratando de que salieran ambos pies en la foto y así darle una mejor presencia; ó quizás, acercarme un poco más tratando de aislarlo más del ambiente. Al final creo resultó una buena foto.
// Playing with shadows and color //
>_ Hello friends and welcome to a new post about photography, this time for the #PhotographyLovers community.
Besides being the first post of the year, if it is not the first post in color, if it is one of the few and most interesting ones, at least from my point of view.
And the thing is that I don't usually publish color photos, mainly because I like the most the black and white photo, but also because I think the colors are not revealed correctly and I end up saturating the tones too much.
One of my purposes for this year is precisely to upload color photos, to be more honest with what the photo asks me and with the initial vision that I have when taking it, not forcing all my work to black and white.
So in this first photo (upper photo), a street vendor was framed between two pillars, being framed in shadows. His shadow can be seen almost pefectly on the ground.
Maybe I could have shot a little earlier, trying to get both feet in the photo and thus give it a better presence; or perhaps, get a little closer trying to isolate it more from the environment. In the end I think it is a good photo.
>_ En esta segunda foto, una pareja se encuentra pasando la tarde en el jardín. Traté balancear el espacio negativo y que fueran las sombras las que de una u otra forma guiaran la vista hacia la pareja.
Ahora que lo pienso, debí de obscurecer un poco los edificios del fondo para precisamente mantener la atención sobre la pareja.
>_ In this second photo, a couple is spending the afternoon in the garden. I tried to balance the negative space and that it was the shadows that in one way or another guided the view towards the couple.
Now that I think about it, I must have darkened the buildings in the background a bit to keep the attention on the couple.
>_ En esta tercera foto, traté de jugar un poco con el color amarillo de la blusa y los anuncios al fondo. Otra vez la luz enmarca la blusa de la mujer y la sombra logra ocultar su rostro y la de su acompañante.
Quizá force un poco de más el tema del color amarillo, pero creo eso y que no podamos ver los rostros de ambos hace que resulte una foto intersante.
>_ In this third photo, I tried to play around with the yellow color of the blouse and the ads in the background. Again the light frames the woman's blouse and the shadow manages to hide her face and that of her companion.
Maybe I push the yellow color issue a bit more, but I think that and that we can't see the faces of both makes it an interesting photo.
>_ Esta última foto también me gustó bastante, aunque para ser sincero, no sé por qué. Un poco de la luz se refleja en la sudadera de nuestro sujeto, que parecía correr por la calle dirigiendosé hacia algún lado a toda prisa.

>_ I really liked this last photo too, although to be honest, I don't know why. Some of the light is reflecting off our subject's sweatshirt, who seemed to be running down the street heading somewhere in a hurry.
