I hope you're all well.
Yesterday morning we received a somewhat different visit and I don't know exactly what species it is, I would need the help of a biologist to identify it. But I see it as a beautiful reptile, maybe a lizard or iguana, and the moment I found it in the backyard I ran to my room to get the camera.
He stayed still for a long time and I took the opportunity to photograph him from different angles, a true "Jurassic Park" session haha.
In some photos it looks like he's looking at himself in the mirror, being vain.
I confess that I was dazzled by the visit, I had never seen a lizard like this, with such vivid colors. Here at home there are many Calangos, a species of small lizard a little bigger than a gecko and in the south of Brazil I found large lizards, but with darker leather tones.
If anyone here in the community has knowledge about biology I hope they can help me identify this species. The same was seen in the city of Natal, Northeast of Brazil.

Espero que estejam todos bem.
Na manhã de ontem recebemos uma visita um tanto quanto diferente e que eu não sei definir exatamente que espécie é, precisaria da ajuda de um biólogo para identificar. Mas vejo como um lindo réptil, talvez um lagarto ou iguana, e na hora que o encontrei no quintal corri pro meu quarto buscar a câmera.
Ele ficou um bom tempo imóvel e aproveitei para fotografa-lo de diversos ângulos, uma verdadeira sessão "Jurassic Park" haha.
Em algumas fotos parece que ele está a se olhar no espelho, sendo vaidoso.
Confesso que fiquei deslumbrado com a visita, nunca tinha visto um lagarto como este, com cores tão vivas. Aqui em casa há muitos Calangos, uma espécie de lagarto pequeno um pouco maior que uma lagartixa e no sul do Brasil encontrei lagartos grandes, mas com tons de couro mais escuro.
Se alguém aqui na comunidade tiver conhecimento sobre biologia espero que possa me ajudar a identificar esta espécie. O mesmo foi avistado na cidade de Natal, Nordeste do Brasil.
