I really like novels about women from old times, such as Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Lady Chatterley's Lover and Madame Bobary (the one I'm currently reading).

Those readings inspire me a lot, and I encouraged my boyfriend to do a photo shoot together to recreate a female character from a bygone era.
Esas lecturas me inspiran mucho, y animé a mi pareja para que hiciéramos juntos una sesión de fotos que recreara a un personaje femenino de una época de antaño.
My boyfriend is a professional photographer, and I (almost) graduated in audiovisual arts, so I am often in charge of developing outfits, staging, the composition of some of the shots, and in this case, I am also the model!
Mi pareja es fotógrafo profesional, y yo (casi)licenciada en artes audiovisuales, así que a menudo yo me encargo de desarrollar vestuario, puesta en escena, la composición de algunas tomas, y en este caso, también soy la modelo!

To take these photographs, and also some of the Figuras Anonimas Project, we went on an excursion to the Pine Forest of Macarao National Park, located in San Pedro de Los Altos, Miranda State, Venezuela.
Para llevar a cabo estas fotografías, y también algunas del Proyecto Figuras Anonimas, nos fuimos de excursión al Bosque de Pinos del Parque Nacional Macarao, localizado en San Pedro de Los Altos, estado Miranda, Venezuela.
The one on the left is my boyfriend, and the one in the middle is me.
El de la izquierda es mi pareja, y la del centro soy yo.
To get to the Pine Forest you have to take a long hiking route through the mountain, climbing quite steep slopes, so we were guided by the group Mochileros de Venezuela, who constantly make group excursions there and to other National Parks and natural areas of the country.
Para llegar al Bosque de Pinos hay que hacer una larga ruta de senderismo a través de la montaña, subiendo laderas bastante empinadas, así que fuimos guiados por el grupo Mochileros de Venezuela, que constantemente realizan excursiones grupales hacia allá y a otros Parques Nacionales y espacios naturales del país.
We arrived exhausted but the reward was worth all the effort. The forest turned out to be a magical place, with its own climate and its own ecosystem, as if it existed in an alternative dimension to ours.
Llegamos agotados pero la recompensa hizo que valiera la pena todo ese esfuerzo. El bosque resultó ser un lugar mágico, con su propio clima y su propio escosistema, como si existiera en una dimensión alternativa a la nuestra.
We set up our camp and stayed two nights!
Montamos nuestro campamento y nos quedamos dos noches!

It was cold both day and night! When we got up early in the mornings it was like this, all foggy and gloomy.
Hacía frío tanto de día como de noche! Cuando nos levantábamos tempranito en las mañanas estaba así, todo lleno de neblina, un tanto tenebroso.
And then it was time for the photos! Here you see me with the dress of the Character...
Y llegó el momento de las fotos!! Aquí me ven con el vestido del personaje...
...and getting more beautiful than I already naturally am, hahaha!
...y poniéndome más hermosa de lo que ya soy naturalmente, jajaja
And here we finally see Mrs. Autumn! Stoic, beautiful, and spiritually tormented because she married Mr. Autumn out of mere commitment and not for love (as happens in the novels that inspired this photos).
¡Y aquí ya vemos por fin a Mrs. Autumn! Estóica, hermosa, y espiritualmente atormentada porque se casó con Mr. Autumn por compromiso y no por amor (como pasa en las novelas que inspiraron estas fotos).

To get this one I had to run down that trail several times! Hahaha
Para lograr esta tuve que correr por ese sendero varias veces! Jajaja
And for this one we had to take 4 different photos: 1 of the forest alone, and one for each pose Mrs. Autumn is in, and then put it all together in Photoshop.
She's supposed to be collecting pine cones.
Y para esta tuvimos que tomar 4 fotos distintas: 1 del bosque solo, y una para cada pose en la que se encuentra Mrs. Autumn, para luego unirlo todo en Photoshop.Se supone que está recogiendo piñitas de pino.
