Among these shining giants, I feel safe ... Budapest warmed and protected me during the war in my Ukraine, where I recently walked the streets of my historic Lviv. This walk took place in November 2021, when I lived for a few days in the Market Square, and then I moved to live in my cottage. Budapest and Lviv are like two brothers: the eldest and the youngest. After all, many buildings were created during the Hungarian Empire in Lviv. And a few days ago I heard that the occupier dropped bombs on my hometown! Thank God, all the people survived. I continue to believe that my Lviv will remain intact and someday you and I will drink coffee together :) And you will walk and enjoy with me these masterpieces of architecture.
The apartment we were staying in was a 20-minute walk from the famous Parliament House, and one evening we went for a walk. When they turn on the lights on these majestic buildings created by great architects, my soul is filled with joy that I and my children can see these masterpieces of ancient architectural art!
Good combination in the photo: bicycles on the background of the House of Parliament. There are many bicycles in Budapest, which are the decoration of the city and a very convenient mode of transport for tourists. I walk around this unique building on all sides and every time its towers and sharp-edged finishes form new paintings against the night sky, which will forever remain a precious memory in my heart.
The silver eye of Budapest attracts to look at the city from a bird's eye view. Darinka was not on it yet, so we decided to buy tickets so that the girl had an exciting experience. I remember my tour of Budapest in 2018. It was autumn and the paintings were colorful and now mystical!
And here is another extremely beautiful walk across the Danube on the Liberty Bridge. The green illumination of the bridge at night looks cool. On this bridge we came to an ancient mountain in the part of Buda. And there, on the mountain you can see the cross. And then we climbed to a height where there were breathtaking views of the night city on both sides of the Danube.
Each photo is a bright flash in my memory, when we walked under the peaceful sky of Budapest, praying for our Ukraine, with gratitude to our loving Father God. For our freedom to just live, have children, love!
The painted heart on the wall in Budapest seems to express my feelings !!!
Today I was under a lot of stress when my friend called and brought the false news that my loved one had died !!! Fortunately, he is alive, but I read many times every day on FB about how my acquaintances and strangers Ukrainians are losing their sons and parents !!! About how young women become premature widows, about how children are orphaned ... This terrible pain lives in my heart and there are no words to express my condolences!
I want to thank each of you, dear hivians friends, who invite me and my daughters to your country to give me shelter and support! I am happy to be part of such a blessed community of people!
Thank you all for your support and kind words of encouragement, for your prayers and faith in the victory of Ukraine!
