Throughout history, man has felt the need to manifest and communicate, and to achieve this he has used all the means of expression, communication and technology available to him, such as language, painting, sculpture, writing or photography, among others.
Of all these media, the youngest is photography, which, from the moment it appeared, became a fundamental part of artistic expression, documentation and information exchange, for the simple fact of capturing a part of time and space with a single click.
The great value that photography has gained throughout its history as an indispensable element of communication and artistic expression has been, in large part, thanks to its vertiginous evolution. If one stops to think about the evolution and the difficulties that other means of expression have encountered throughout their history and compares them with the trajectory of photography, they will see that in a period close to 200 years, photography has been able to complement and in many cases replace ancient media such as language, writing or painting.
Currently, the entire world has entered the most accelerated phase of its evolution in audiovisual communication thanks to the conjunction of a series of technological factors that day by day surprise us to unsuspected limits.
All this revolution is possible thanks to the computerization or digitalization of practically everything that surrounds us.
Thanks to this global and accelerated digitalization, it is possible to watch television, surf the internet or simply cross a street. How could it be otherwise, photography has not been left out of this progress.
If we take into account that there are already mobile phones on the market that allow you to send photos and that the interlocutor can see them just a few seconds later and no matter where he is, whether it is just a few meters or on the other side of the world, we will realize that the digital photography revolution has only just begun.
