Old Panteleimonas Greek: Παλαιός Παντελεήμονας is an ancient pastoral village, built in the 15th century. It is located on the eastern slope of Mount Olympus, at an altitude of 700 m. It offers spectacular views of Thermaikos Bay and the southern coast of Pieria.
The village now has about 3,000 inhabitants, and the closest urban area is Platamon town, 8 km away.
In the village of Old Panteleimon, there are traditional stone houses and beautiful narrow cobbled streets in greenery with shops of herbs, bee products and herbal teas.
I have a friend, who built a dream house in Olympus and never went to live there.
If it is only up to me, I would pack my stuff and move there immediately.
