On one of the tours in the Aegean Sea, we visited a group of Greek islands called the Cyclades. During the 11-day cruise, as usual, the crew and staff did everything to make the trip fun. The program is designed to entertain as well as educate passengers. From showcasing Greek cuisine in real time to adventure and travel films about gastronomy, history and cultural heritage. I remember well, the troupe of young artists whose audio-visual performance was inspired by the history and mythology of the ancient Hellenes. This one exactly was dedicated to the great poet Homer and the well-known gods, Zeus and Poseidon. I wasn't in the best position to take wider shots, but I still caught a bit of the atmosphere on stage.
As I managed to find out, the team consisted of various artists from all over the world, both amateurs and professionals. Some of them are my countrymen, photographer and stylist. There were musicians, circus artists, professional dancers, actors and of course others less exposed from backstage, in charge of special effects, make-up and everything without which the performance would not be possible.
