Opportunities are many before an upcoming rainstorm for great photos, as the colors during late afternoon are more intense.
Five layers of nature's elements in the photo above. Flowers, trees, mountains, clouds, and the sky.
During the power cuts, we go and look for the opportunities and here's some colors for your Monday.
Can you believe that we will have 4x2:30 hour power cuts on this Monday.
Now with the gas prices sky high, we cannot afford to go out 4 times during the power cuts, so this post will have to do.
Intermittent rain throughout the day and thankfully it breaks the scorching summer heat that is created by the blazing African sun.
Another factor that creates the wonderful scenes are the fierce wind speeds and we don't dare to go down to the ocean, because a couple of days ago, the wind almost blew me off my feet. Luckily I could grab onto a handrailing. At the open air restaurants, the wind blows the glasses off the tables, as that is how strong these winds are. (I will show you in another post)
Come and look at the colors.
I prefer these types of layers below, as they are more natural.
Now if you don't like blue Agapanthus flowers, here below are some white ones.
I simply had to add our favorite hill shot in here.
The Nguni calf kept an eye on me, but I had no milk for him.
And so it was starting to get ready for the rain.
The mountain told me that it was time to go home :)
So, what do we do at home during the power cuts?
Well, my wife has a few patches of ground at home that she calls her gardens. Two areas at the back and two areas at the front of our house.
I must say that it's looking good. Not because I am scared of her, but rather to please her :)
Ooops, time for me to explain that I am only cleaning my camera lens and I am not taking a photo of her :)
And then the relief!
Now another trick that I have developed is that I wait patiently for my wife to go and work in her front gardens, and then I climb on the roof at the back gardens to take photos of the mountains.
Of course I keep an eye on her and when I hear her coming into the house, I am off the roof in a flash to sit at our small table with an innocent face like a priest :)
Now she has not seen this post, so please don't tell her as I will get wet in the dog box, it is raining out there.
Please no funny remarks in the comments section, as I am a serious guy :)
And That's All Friends.
