The ocean and the sun are big friends, so let's have a look.
And of course, we are also friends of the ocean and the sun and also Mother nature.
We are fortunate to have both the ocean and the mountains within easy reach, so when I am busy taking photos of the ocean, it is only a matter of 15 minutes to drive to the mountains and right into nature.
Some days when we go out on a non-planned journey, amazing sights can be seen. And we have learned to value these impromptu outings.
Today was such a day.
Come and look.
I have alternated the photos with looks toward the south and to the north. This one below is to the south.
And this one is towards the north-west.
Amazing views and I think that you will agree.
And as I said in the introduction, it only takes me 15 minutes to get from the ocean to places such as below.
We also have a selection of farms to choose from when we go back to the mountains, and we try to keep out of the way of the crowds with our visits.
For instance, this morning after I had seen the doctor we went out to a wine farm for coffee and photos. And as it was early and on a weekday, we thought that everyone would be at work and we would have the farm to ourselves. But not to be, as there were more than a thousand visitors on the farm. Two occasions were in full swing, the one was a church gathering for a memorial service of a popular local person that died, and the other occasion was a popular mountain biking contest where people came from far and wide to register for the race.
So bravely we had a quick cup of coffee and then we were out of there to come back home.
Such is life.
And That's All Friends.
