Could not sleep, so went outside to bag a beautiful sunrise.
The clouds used the mountain like a skating ramp and flung themselves into the air. An early photo above in dim light on the zoom.
Good afternoon from South Africa and I hope that none of you are allergic to Mother nature's kaleidoscope of colors. There is much beauty to view in here.
Yay, I was up and out before Robbie, our resident wild Cape Robin could cut loose with his new day song.
So I was ready for him when he came on stage and this was way before sunrise at 4am.
Sorry for the lamp posts, but I wanted to show you the far left hand side of the sunrise.
Here we are back at the right hand side closer to where the sun rises.
And finally it seemed that the day would now start.
Towards the left the skies darkened and it seemed that it would be one of those cloudy days again.
A strange thing is happening to me during the early hours of the morning. For some reason I overheat in bed and at 2-3am I awake with a racing heart and a pulse rate that goes through the roof. This is always accompanied by very extreme nightmares and I don't know if the heat or the nightmares causes this. I can tell you some dreams that will make you sit bolt upright, but I choose not to. The only good thing is that I am unharmed at the end of the dream.
In any case it is at the final stage of the dreams that I awake wet with sweat and it takes about an hour before I return to normal. By that time I am up, dressed and outside in the garden.
Now I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but if it does, please let me know how you handle it.
Hope that you enjoyed the sunrise.
And That's All Friends.
