Happy Friday to all and tell me which picture stirs your soul most.
At first four landscapes and then four seascapes all taken on one drive.
Rained here most of the day and it meant that very few people would be out.
In fact we greeted only one golfer at the golf course as he was leaving and we had the place all to ourselves. My aim was to get the late afternoon clouds on the mountains, but sadly most of them were shrouded in clouds, except for the big one at the left.
We stopped here for a few quick landscape shots and gladly I got some other shots of birds that I will show in another post.
Then we traveled on to the ocean.
Right and here below are 4 shots of the moody sea.
Now who on earth would be out in the cold Atlantic ocean kite surfing on a stormy day?
Oh yes, I befriended the kite flying guys and they did not mind me taking photos of them out there in the surf. So again, I will keep the shots for another post, as this post is about scenery.
One would never say it is winter here, and in fact it is warmer being out in the rain than it is inside the house. Another good thing is that people stay indoors and so we can move about in total freedom with no crowds around.
I have a great love for the mountains, nature, and the sea and it was all gifted to us when we moved down here four years ago. We used to stay in the big city of Johannesburg, far away up north but nature was always my greatest desire, so now we have it all.
It is such a pleasure to hop into the car and to drive out anywhere as some beauty will always be available for my camera to show you.
I hope that you have enjoyed the post and the story.
And That's All Friends.
