...as my main focus was on the airplane, imagine my surprise when I saw this.
The plane came over very fast, and I wanted to see what it was, with no thought about the moon. Just a pity that the sky was not a bit brighter, as we have constantly cloudy skies here now. It is winter and a series of cold fronts are starting to land.
I took the shot from a parking spot at a shopping center, while I waited outside for the boss, as she was buying some food inside. The spot also has a great view of the ocean front, and it was approximately 6 kilometers away from the sea. So, I decided to take some cloud shots above the sea, and I got more than I bargained for, as you will see below.
Let's have a look.
A helicopter was taking some tourists on a trip over the beachfront.
So, I decided to follow its progress on the trip.
Keep your eyes on the helicopter as it flies along.
Then the chopper turned at the far end to travel inland.
And finally, this below was the last shot that I took of it.
I often wonder what things below would look like from inside a chopper. We have quite a few helicopter firms here that take tourists on sightseeing trips. I will never forget the ecstasy of my first ride in a helicopter, even as it was in the army, but sadly I have never had an opportunity to take a trip in one. Maybe I will take a trip one day, when I am rich, but only a joke as I am not rich, and I don't plan to be rich, so no helicopter trips for me. There are many other things in our life that enjoy priority, and for instance, we can take the price of a helicopter trip to buy food for the feeding schemes that Papillon supports.
I was really thrilled when I saw that the plane in the tag (first) picture was near the moon, and glad that nature played a trick on me.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
