Something said to me to look out of the window in our study. I was busy on the pc, and I turned to have a look.
Dolphins swimming in a red-hot sky.
So, I grabbed my camera and rushed out into the front garden. An amazing sight greeted my eyes, as the sky looked like it was on fire. I have had a similar sight a while ago, but this one was way more intense. Had I known that this would happen, we would have popped down to the beach, as it must have looked beautiful above the Atlantic Ocean.
Maybe I will get it on the ocean one of these days.
Come have a look.
This was the sky a bit earlier when I went into the house.
Ever so slowly, the sky started to darken, and the colors started to change. I feel, at times like this, that I can burst out in song as my emotions are in the sky. A warm inner feeling that I cannot explain, even if I tried to. Nature is really so fantastic, and the artist here is our great Creator. No person can do this. Turning a bleak sky into a wonderful work of art.
A lovely pink, as the sunlight retreated beyond the horizon.
And finally, a superb bonus as the magnificent full moon came on show.
It was the colors that truly amazed me, and I bet that you can also see some figures that you recognize in the red sky. My eyes are forever upon the heavens, as there are so many sights that appear daily. Be it many species of birds, or white flowing clouds on the mountain peaks, or whatever, there is always something going on in the sky. Not to say that there is nothing going on down below, as I have done many posts, such as dragonflies, for instance, to also share the beauty down below. Life is what we make of it, and I prefer to share my passions.
Fire In The Sky
"Like fire in the sky it is
When the sun sets in the night
Red and yellow engulf the world
In a vivid and glorious sight
It seems so unexplainable
How the sky lights up this way
I can't think of a more perfect
Way to end the day
Sometimes purple adds itself
To the colors up above
A fever in the sky it seems
Or God showing his thoughtful love
Whatever is the reason
We enjoy the sights so much
When the sun drops from the sky
And leaves its brilliant touch!"

I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the poem.
