...as I have some random views in here to share after the rains.
Suddenly the geese came overhead and as they were flying fast, I grabbed this shot above.
As I said in here you will see some sights that I took on our short travels during the day. It was a public holiday this week and it would be madness to go to the malls, as it would have been packed with visitors, and we didn't want to stay at home, so we took some short trips every now and then during the day around the area. Of course I had the camera with us, and whenever we saw something interesting, we would stop for me to take some shots of it.
Here is a collection of the shots below.
A great view from the road of the cloud formations on the mountain.
Then I have 3 shots of the sun battling with the clouds, and I had to wait to see if the sun would be successful in its tryst. But not to be, as the clouds simply swallowed the sun again. What I saw was that the milky cloud above the solid cloud was pouring water down on the emerging sun, as you can see the spout above the sun.
Just a look at the cloud formation above the mountain, almost a pyramid shape.
Here below I once again saw the sun creeping out of the clouds, and the sun won the battle this time, as it shone brightly for several hours afterward.
Some recent rain pools were still around, and I tried to get the reflection of a tree in the pool of water.
This shot below was taken after I got the geese in the first photo, and we love cloud layers. Almost looked like a 4-layered cake with a dollop of cream at the top.
Oh yes, and finally I had to show you the lovely colors of the clouds at sunset, as we were back home.
So, how's this post for travels in the sky on some outings? Better than sitting inside somewhere, as it was a cold day, but I don't want to blame anyone, as it is so nice to sit in front of a fire on a blanket with a good book at home. Thing is that we don't have a fireplace at home, and it is an expensive issue to buy one of the loose standing ones. Building one also costs a packet, and we just don't have the means. So, on the very cold nights it is thick blankets and the bed for us.
The fuel price of cars has escalated to a very expensive scenario due to the drastic increases of the issue between Iran and the US, and so long trips are out of the question until the issue is solved. Some say that the damages of the escalations will be felt for years afterwards. Not only that, but in the meantime food prices have also gone through the ceiling, and nowadays it is getting very expensive to live, especially for the poor. But we just have to make do, and as they say tighten our belts.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
