Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it's the courage to continue that counts - Winston Churchill.
But first we want to wish ALL on Hive the very best during this festive season and may the New Year be kind to everyone.
Oh yes, by now we all have had the success and failure experiences and there is not one that can deny this. We all make mistakes and it takes courage to admit it. But life is so designed that failures are rather lessons and they are not fatal unless one sticks a hand down a crocodile's throat :)
How many times have we heard the words that we only have one life and that we have to make the best of it? Or the words that time waits for no one?
So let me take you on the road in life.
At times we have to face many problems in life. Some are big mountains and others are smaller mountains that we all have to climb.
The thing is that amazingly we have the talents to overcome the problems, either on our own, or by following the advice of others that had similar problems.
The great thing is that we all have survived and we also all continue in our different ways of life.
Just like the birds can clear the mountains, so we can also overcome our problems. To fly free for a while again.
But there will always be those tricky and cloudy days in our lives; when someone, or something has upset us, we had a bad night, we are extremely busy, or for whatever of the many other reasons. Hold on as all of us have those days.
Giving up is the only sure way to fail - Gena Showalter
So yes, we will continue to taste success and we will continue to make mistakes. The difference is that we can rejoice in our successes and it takes courage to apologize for one's mistakes, but life goes on.
Just never give up!
An Irish blessing from my wife.
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
The rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
