The horizon was covered with a low sheet of white cloud and there was only one place to see where it was coming from.
I think that some of you will remember this wine farm and it has the best view of the mountain range.
It is also the farm where I got the bucks on camera, and I got more bucks today, but that's for another post.
I will show you in here where the cloud started and how it started to expand over the sky leaving us back at home with a sky that is completely covered with cloud.
There are also some other sights in here, as I have not only concentrated on the cloud and I hope that you will like what you see.
Let's go.
All along the way that we traveled, we could see this white band of cloud.
But Ah! Instinct led me to the mountains, and I found the start of the cloud.
Not only the start, but also the start of the cloud's expansion.
I told you that I found the bucks here on this farm and here are two scenic shots of some of them backed by the mountains.
Of course, I also had to show you some mountain layers.
In the meantime, the cloud continued to expand as you will see below.
We passed by this dam on our way back and I tried to get some reflection shots. The power cut was finished and we had work to do back home.
So now we are dancing between the power cuts again and until further notice we will have 3 per day. 4-6:30am, 12-2:30pm and 8-10:30pm. These are not too bad, as it is especially the 9-12 morning and the 10-12 evening ones that give us problems. Then when they add a 12-2 noon power cut in there and we have even more problems.
But I am not complaining as there are so many others that have things much worse than us during these times.
In any case, I am also grateful that the power cuts give us an opportunity to get out into nature more. We go out during one of the cuts every day and my camera loves it :)
No, we cannot drive far, as gas is expensive, but we have more than enough beautiful places around here to visit.
A reminder, if you ever visit our lovely country, do not miss to visit the Western Cape Province and if you do, then don't miss a visit to this wonderful Wine Estate.
Here's a safe link for you to have a look at it:
