You can find sports not just at official courts and stadiums, but right in the heart of the city too. Like when there's a 3x3 street basketball game happening in the town square.
Street sports have their own unique charm. These makeshift courts become magnets for attention, drawing in passersby who might never step foot in a traditional sports arena. So there's never a shortage of spectators, and that's pretty important too. What would sports be without fans and viewers? (What would blogging on HIVE be without readers, fans and followers?)
Shooting sports photography is a blast. The environment is usually colorful and action-packed, giving you the chance to capture both movement and raw emotion – not just from the players but from the crowd as well. You get those intense expressions from athletes in clutch moments, the focused looks of spectators who might have someone they know or even a family member out there on the court. The combination of fast-paced action, intense emotions, and visually striking settings makes sports photography one of the most popular and exciting disciplines out there.
For the shoot, I went with a 55-200mm lens on my APS-C camera. I stuck mostly to the 55mm end, only zooming in for a few more detailed shots. Out of thirty-eight photos I took, I picked these twelve – that's a pretty solid hit rate! 😊
Se sportem se můžeme setkat nejen na hřištích a stadiónech, ale třeba i na náměstí. Například když se hraje 3x3 street basketbal.
Pouliční sport má své kouzlo. Improvizované kurty se stávají centrem pozornosti i u kolemjdoucích, kteří by možná do sportovní haly ani nepřišli. Takže o diváky není nouze, a to je taky důležité. Co by byl sport bez diváků a fanoušků? (Co by bylo blogování na HIVE bez čtenářů a fanoušků?)
Fotit sport je zábava. Prostředí je obvykle barevné a akční, je možné zachytit pohyb i emoce, nejen u hráčů ale i u diváků. Napjaté výrazy sportovců v klíčových momentech zápasu, soustředěné pohledy diváků, kteří mají na kurtu třeba někoho známého nebo dokonce rodinného příslušníka. Kombinace rychlého tempa, intenzivních emocí a vizuálně atraktivního prostředí činí ze sportovní fotografie jednu z velmi oblíbených disciplín.
Na focení jsem si vybral objektiv s ohniskem 55 ‒ 200 mm APS-C. Většinou jsem fotil na těch 55, jen na pár detailnějších záběrů jsem si to vytáhl na víc. Z třiceti osmi pořízených fotek jsem vybral těchto dvanáct, to je celkem dobrá výtěžnost 😊
