It is said that you can read a lot of things in people's faces. Experience, character, mood... Some people have a lot written on their faces, some have less. And sometimes a face doesn't accurately reflect what's underneath. I should probably stop with the psychological talk :)
Why did I do these portraits in the first place? Well, I found them interesting from an artistic point of view.
In the first photo of the woman, she is complemented by the face of the man in the background, which I think balances the composition well.
The second photo was taken at a vintage car show. And these are reflected in the glasses of the man in the picture. They symbolize what he's interested in at that particular place.
And the third photo again shows an interesting contrast: cycling as a sport is usually associated with younger, action-oriented people, so the face of an older, bearded man in sports glasses and a cycling helmet breaks our stereotypes a bit.

Proč jsem vlastně tyto portréty pořídil? Inu, připadaly mi z výtvarného hlediska zajímavé.
Na první fotce ženy ji doplňuje tvář muže v pozadí, což mi připadá, že to tu kompozici dobře vyvažuje.
Druhá fotka byla pořízená na výstavě automobilových veteránů. A ty se odráží i v brýlích muže na snímku. Symbolizují to, co ho právě na tom místě zajímá.
A na třetí fotce je opět zajímavý kontrast: cyklistiku jako sport máme obvykle spojenou s mladšími akčními lidmi, takže tvář staršího vousatého muže ve sportovních brýlích a cyklistické helmě trošku narušuje naše zažité stereotypy.
