Attention! I'm bragging 馃槄
My cacti are blooming again, which makes me extremely happy. Unfortunately, they have one drawback: they bloom only for one day (for me around June 15-20). Therefore, I had to make sure not to miss this moment.
The flowers visible in the photo had a diameter of over 10 cm, so they were really large and incredibly beautiful. I couldn't smell them. Maybe this is the reason that during this very short flowering time I did not see any bee or other insect sitting nearby or even coming inside.
If someone would like their cacti to bloom, here is some advice: put a cactus on the south-facing balcony every hot summer and wait for a dozen or so years. If conditions are favorable to this plant, flowers will appear, even several on one plant. At first, small protrusions appear, and from them a stem grows, about 20 cm long, ending first with a bud and then a flower.

Zn贸w zakwit艂y u mnie kaktusy, z czego jestem niezmiernie zadowolony. Niestety, maj膮 one jedn膮 wad臋: kwitn膮 tylko przez jeden dzie艅 (u mnie w okolicach 15 - 20 czerwca). Dlatego, musia艂em pilnowa膰, aby nie przegabi膰 tego momentu.
Widoczne na zdj臋ciu kwiaty mia艂y 艣rednic臋 ponad 10 cm, zatem by艂y naprawd臋 du偶e i niebywale pi臋kne. Nie by艂em w stanie wyczu膰 ich zapachu. Mo偶e to jest powodem, 偶e przez ten bardzo kr贸tki czas kwitnienia nie widzia艂em, by jaka艣 pszczo艂a lub inny owad usiad艂 w pobli偶u czy nawet wszed艂 do 艣rodka.
Je艣li kto艣 chcia艂by, 偶eby i jego kaktusy zakwit艂y to podaje rad臋: postaw, ka偶dego upalnego lata, kaktusa na balkonie od po艂udniowej strony i czekaj kilkana艣cie lat. Przy przychylnych tej ro艣linie warunkach pojawi膮 si臋 kwiaty, nawet kilka na jednej ro艣linie. Na pocz膮tku pojawiaj膮 si臋 ma艂e wypustki, a z nich wyrasta 艂odyga, d艂uga na ok. 20 cm, zako艅czona najpierw p膮kiem, a potem kwiatem.
