Let me show the ways you can lead the viewer's eyes exactly where You want them to go while looking at your photograph. I will also show the ways of telling the story about someones energies they carry inside.
Example 1:
In the first example I will be using one of the simplest dynamic symmetry grids, called Baroque diagonal. Baroque diagonal (lower left to upper right), is the one we perceive as pleasing, the positive one and uplifting. Using these diagonals mindfully while composing will help you to convey the message.
In the photograph below you can see the usage of baroque diagonal from the first hand.
Being placed in the way which follows this diagonal, the viewer will be able to feel this cat's energy rising - she spotted something!
When she spots a prey, the cat gets really excited, but will block herself from lashing out, in order to stay invisible and increase the chance of actually catching something.
To intensify the dynamic effect I am cropping this image in a specific way.
By leaving only a little bit of "breathing" space between the cat's face and the end of the photograph I am conveying that this cat is blocked from progressing forward. I did not leave any space for progression of her energies forward, which is why she will be perceived as "on hold", waiting for that Perfect moment to attack.
The ones who have immerse power, but are able to be patient, we perceive as insightful and intelligent, exactly what I am trying to say about this cat.
Example 2:
In the second example, you can see a harmonious layout broken in order to induce dynamism.
Horizontal lines created by the water and the clouds are making this photograph harmonious. The viewer perceives them as pleasant, in order, flowing, like the water.
In order to break that harmony, I am placing big rock, with a dog standing on it, in the center of the photograph. By breaking the harmony, the center formation becomes a viewers focus point, and the tranquility is conveyed into dynamism.
The ones who break the rules are seen as the ones who have the power and ability to make the change in this world.
By being in a conflict with harmonious layout, the dog is perceived as a fearless, brave and insightful hero.
Be fearless in your creative process!
Thank's for reading,
I wish you a wonderful day :)
