Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
The weather has been really crazy here in Central Europe lately. Freezing waves and heavy snow loads have been taking turns with short periods of warm temperatures, which means the snow doesn´t stay long as it quickly gets turned into that ugly grey slush.
Yet, there was also a couple of beautiful days when the whole city of Krakow was under the fresh white snow blanket, looking like a true winter wonderland. Whenever it was like this outside, I headed out with my cell phone camera to click some nice snowy shots for you. The photos were slowly adding up and after some selection and basic editing, I ended up having 40 snowy pictures of Krakow that I would like to share with you in this photo collection. Again, just like with the beach shots last week, I don´t want to overwhelm you with 40 images in one post so I decided to split this photo series into two parts, both of which will feature 20 photos.
If you are ready for some nice winter chill, kick back and enjoy the first part of this photo collection dedicated to enchanting snowy Krakow ;)
I hope you enjoyed these snowy pictures. If you did, stay tuned for the second part of the series that will show up here on my blog next week. As for the locations of the photos, I took them in many different parts of the city such as the historic center, the Wawel Castle, the Wisla River, the Krakus Hill, the Jewish Cemetery in Kazimierz, the Podgorze neighborhood etc.
