Earlier today, while everyone was busy preparing for Christmas Eve, I sneak out for a bit to go for a walk. A nice walk is a good way to breathe some fresh air and also to divert my thoughts to something else. As usual, photography is my hobby which relieves some of the stress of my daily tasks at the house.
In this season when everyone feels happy, it's good to be listening to music that will make you even cheerful. The kind of songs that will uplift the level of your mood.
I do have the same effect whenever I go out and take photos. Observing the nature around me and taking photos of the beautiful flowers in my surroundings. I like this kind of lifestyle, to have the freedom to express my creativity through photography.
You may notice that in some of the photos that I post here on the platform, I tend to edit them in such a way that it will look like it was taken using an old film camera. Maybe I'm an old soul because I find beauty in old photographs. One of the reasons why I prefer giving my photos an old film effect is because it feels like the image will have a "nostalgic" effect. Although it may not apply to every photo I think that it will have a stronger effect when used with inherently old subjects. These subjects are old houses, dried-up flowers, antique objects, and older people as well.
I encourage you to try this with your photos and see what kind of results you will get.
Mine photography exercise for today has resulted to these 5 photos, I hope that you will like them too.
