Today I'm looking to brighten the day with some photos from the photo shoot with my friend and talented DJ, AnaSoul. She sought me out to conduct a session that would translate her artist and nocturnal spirit.
These photos are from 2017, we took the photos on the streets of Lagoa da Conceição and using only street lighting, such as streetlamps, cars, commercial lights. There was no use of flash at any time. For this we used a 50mm 1.8 lens, in order to make the most of the low light at night.
Some photos have a more fashion/casual feel, soughting to help raise their self-esteem after a motorcycle accident that left her with leg sequelae (hence the photo with the cane) and some that could be used as a dj to promote in her media.
This session really had a special touch, upon seeing the result Ana exploded with joy and months later she confessed to us that the photographs really helped her at this time when she was having difficulty accepting herself physically.
In fact, for years doing portraits, we know well the positive impact that photos have on people and how it influences the self-esteem of those who make a photo shoot.
We are grateful to be able to unite our work, our art and the power, in a way, to help people.

Como estão?
Hoje busco alegrar o dia com algumas fotos da sessão de fotos com minha amiga e talentosa Dj, AnaSoul. Ela me procurou para realizar uma sessão que traduzisse seu espirito de artista e noturno.
Estas fotos são de 2017, fizemos as fotos nas ruas da Lagoa da Conceição e usando apenas a iluminação das ruas, como postes de luz, carros, luzes do comércio. Não houve uso do flash em nenhum momento. Para isso utilizamos uma lente 50mm 1.8, de forma a aproveitar ao máximo a pouca luz da noite.
Algumas fotos tem uma pegada mais fashion/casual, o qie buscava ajudar a levantar sua auto estima após um acidente de moto que lhe deixara sequelas na perna (por isso a foto com a bengala) e algumas que pudessem ser usadas como dj para divulgar em suas mídias.
Essa sessão realmente teve um toque especial, ao ver o resultado Ana explodiu de alegria e meses mais tarde nos confessou que as fotografias realmente a ajudaram nesse momento em que sentia dificuldade em se aceitar fisicamente.
Na verdade, a anos fazendo retratos, sabemos bem do impacto positivo que as fotos tem nas pessoas e como influencia na auto estima de quem faz uma sessão fotográfica.
Somos gratos em poder unir nosso trabalho, nossa arte e o poder, de certa forma, de ajudar pessoas.
