Hello my dear friends!
Today we chose to share a beautiful sequence of silhouettes. They are photos from different photoshoots and whenever we do a photoshoot during sunrise we try to make at least one silhouette taking advantage of the backlight and the dawn landscape.
In these cases, the object or model is not illuminated directly by light, but with a backlight, being totally or almost totally shaded. It is an interesting technique and leads to an aesthetic result that we like a lot.
The interesting thing here in this sequence, using silhouettes in the landscapes, is that we allow the viewer to see only the contours and the shape of the model, but we do not allow him to see details. At the same time, we reveal the entire environment in which the models are inserted and bring the paradisiacal landscape to the composition in order to determine where the action takes place.
The gloom on the model adds mystery to the image.
Who will be enjoying good times at dawn? How does this person look like?
At the same time, a faceless model helps to create empathy for the viewer, making the same person feel in place in that way, as if the non-apparent face could be yours.
