I can't even imagine how much has already been written about Venice, nor how many films, songs, poems, reports, and photos have been taken about it. What can I contribute that hasn't already been said about Venice? Just my personal impressions.
I truly fell in love with Venice, like so many others, I suppose, and it has a unique charm. Its canals are full of history, of loves and heartbreaks, the traditions that are still preserved, like gondola rides, the warmth, the people—in short, there are so many things that make it unique.
I will never forget that my mother's unfulfilled dream was to go to Venice, and I'm sure that wherever she is, she must have been happy that I was able to travel its canals and alleys and that I always had her in mind.

No puedo ni imaginar cuánto se habrá escrito ya sobre Venecia, ni cuantas películas, canciones, poemas, reportajes y fotos se habrán hecho sobre ella. Que puedo aportar yo que no se haya dicho de Venecia? Solo mis impresiones personales.
Realmente quedé enamorado de Venecia, como muchísimas otras persona, supongo, y es que tiene un encanto singular. Sus canales llenos de historia, de amores y desamores, las tradiciones que aún se conservan, como los paseos en góndola, el calor, la gente, en fin, son muchas cosas que la hacen única.
Nunca olvidaré que el sueño no cumplido de mi madre fue ir a Venecia y estoy seguro que donde quiera que ella esté debe haberse sentido feliz de que yo recorriera sus canales y callejas y que siempre la tuviera presente.
