Cuba is wonderful!
From a photographer's perspective, conveying that feeling is really quite simple. Literally, on every corner, there is a scene ready to be photographed.
Unfortunately, there are also harsh and difficult scenes to witness. Life in Cuba today is not easy, just as it isn't in other brotherly nations that endure countless hardships for various reasons.
In my opinion, we photographers have the duty to capture this reality, always with a personal approach, but respecting good taste.
I prefer to show more of the wonderful, though also a bit of the difficult, because it is there, and we cannot ignore it. However, beauty makes me much happier.

¡Cuba es maravillosa!
Desde los ojos de un fotografo transmitir esa sensación es realmente muy sencillo, literalmente en cada esquina hay una escena maravillosa lista para ser fotografiada. Lamentablemente tambien hay escenas terribles y muy dificiles de ver. No es facil la vida en cuba hoy, como estoy seguro que tampoco lo es en otros paises hermanos que sufren incontables sufrimientos por diversas causas. Nosotros los fotógrafos tenemos a mi parecer la obligación de dejar plasmada esta realidad y siempre con un enfoque personal pero respetando siempre el buen gusto.
Yo prefiero mostrar un poco mas de lo maravilloso, y tambien un poco de lo terrible porque esta ahi, no podemos ignorarlo. Pero lo bello me hace mucho mas feliz.
