This weekend has been busy... nearly 6 weeks into the new year and I had my first photoshoot of the year yesterday...
New camera (canon R6 for those interested) New studio for me to visit and a new model that I've long admired but not worked with as yet...
So, with the new camera, I've not even played with it as yet, bar doing a buffering test, seeing how many shots the camera will take before it stops while it writes the data to the memory card.. WOW... this camera does not buffer... 160 images at over 20fps and its still going strong... fucking incredible imo... These were standard class 10 sd cards too, not the new mega fast ones...
Given that I'm still playing / learning and setting the camera up, I decided to jump onto a group shoot to have a play... that way, if I make a mess of things, 1) i've not paid a fortune for a model and studio, 2) i've not got give a model images from a tf shoot... its not fair to not look after the model..

Just wow.. Now. I don't 'get' cosplay, I don't really buy into it but fucking hell... Fran just pulls this stuff off.. big wigs, bigger heels, strong colourful looks.. shes just ace...
Now, as always, attitude and personality of the model is a big a thing as their looks... this game is my hobby and its got to be fun... After following Fran for a while on facebook and insta, I kinda knew she was cool, but she is soo funny... Wayyy more than her profiles show and had me in stitches most of the afternoon with some of the stuff she said...
A few different sets shot, and I was hoping to nail the editing today, but I've been to the football instead... So this is all I've done so far..
Really hoping for a quiet day at work tomorrow.... I get to knock a few images out on my lunch, some really exciting sets to come..
As for the camera.. a couple of hitches, but a camera is a camera, they all do the same job but do them slightly differently.
