Deep red in color and clusters of flowers with heavy blooming during the winter is the perfect flowering vine to be grown at home entrances is Clerodendrum splendens, commonly called flaming glory bower. The flowers are very attractive to the birds and butterflies. You can enjoy the activities of sunbirds on it all over the day. They love its nectar.
It blooms during winter and continues to bloom for three months here in North India. For arches it is the perfect option to decorate with. I am training it to reach my terrace in few years.
