Yesterday, 2nd July 2021 was my appointment for my second dose of covid19 vaccination. Location are the same with my first dose, which is at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). I was scheduled an appointment at 2pm.
I was in office in the morning, and made my move from there. I arrived at KLCC around 1.30PM. As usual, the parking was full. I manage to get parking at level P1. Just my luck, my parking spot was not that far from KLCC entrance.
But unfortunately, now they have move the hall entrance at the middle of KLCC. Meaning, i need to walk further inside from KLCC entrance towards hall entrance.
One good thing is, registration is made super easy, just need to use the mysejahtera application. I am required to show the qrcode within mysejahter profile, and the staff will scan the qrcode that is generated by mysejahtera.
From there, it is stated that i am assigned to 'Lane C - 2nd dose'. I was instructed by the staff to follow the arrow until i see rows of cubicle, and then show my mysejahtera application to the staff that is on duty over there.
When i reach at the cubicle area, I was given a number, and was told to wait, be seated until my number is called. The waiting was not that long. Not even 10 minutes, my number was displayed on the screen along with the cubicle number. I get up, and walk towards the assigned cubicle.
When i reach to the cubicle, there was another two person in front of me. I need to wait until those two person got their vaccine injection. After a few minutes, I was called to get inside the cubicle. It was a small cubicle that can only fit three person at a time.
There are two table inside the cubicle. One table has multiple boxes containing vaccine vials, and for staff to prepped the vaccine into syringe. Another table is the doctor table. I sit at a chair next to the doctor table.
The doctor shows me the vaccine syringe and told me that she will jab 0.5ml of the vaccine into my shoulder. She asked me whether i understand and want to proceed. I reply yes to her. Then I was told to take a deep breath, and count to three, then slowly release my breath.
She jab the vaccine when I was slowly exhaling my breath. After i got my vaccine injection, I ask the doctor if i can take a picture of the vaccine vial. She nodded and said go ahead. So below is the picture of the vial 😁
Then I was told to go outside and go to rows of counter with Dose 2 signage. Am told to wait at seating are nearby counter number 5 or 6 until my name is called. When I reach at the area, there are only few people waiting.
Not even 5 minutes of waiting, my name was called. I am assigned to counter number 5. I was instructed to show my mysejahtera profile. From there, the staff at the counter scan the QRcode at my mysejahtera application.
After he scanned the QRcode, my profile was updated with a digital certificate that stated I have completed my full dose of vaccination. At the point of time, I was really starving. I just had a cup noodle two hours before my appointment.
I decided to make a stop at Suria KLCC to get my lunch. I have the option to use the air-conditioned underground tunnel that is obviously much cooler compared to walk outside in a scorching 37°c temperature.
But if i use the underground tunnel, I won't be able to take scenery pictures along the way. I took quite a number of pictures. In total, for yesterday, I took around 30++ pictures. But i share only 18 of it here. Some of it, I share in another platform.
I grab a hotdog set that comes with fries and soft drink. Since it is prohibited to dine-in or anywhere outside, I took my meals and head home. Reached home after 30 minutes of driving.
Overall I'm relived that I have completed all my doses. Since my company still running even during lockdown period. The risk is always there. Stay safe all!!
