Gotten my first dose of covid19 vaccine yesterday. Vaccine Distribution Centre (VDC) is assigned few days before vaccination date. According to mysejahtera application, I was assigned to Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
Due to lockdown, traffic was not congested, thus travelling time is shorten from 1 hour to 30 minutes. Once i reach to KLCC, i notice parking is a bit difficult. A lot of people coming to get their vaccine too. Just my luck, one car was coming out from parking spot.
Also just my luck, the parking spot was near to the main entrance. At the main entrance, i just show the VDC crew my appointment shown at mysejahtera application. From there, they assigned me to Lane C.
There three (3) lane in total: A, B & C. I honestly don't know how they assign which people going into which lane. Maybe it is random, maybe there are criteria for that.
After I reach at front of the lane, i am instructed to fill in a consent form for the vaccination. I agree to be vaccinated. After filling up the form, i pass it to the crew. After that i am required to meet with a doctor. The doctor interviewed me for any known illness or allergies.
After answering all of the questions, i am instructed to walk along the blue line, until i saw row of cubicles with letter C, sit at designated place and wait until my number is called.
I waited for a moment before my number was called. I go into the cubicle. In there, i was given the vaccine injection. After the injection, i am required to get the next date of appointment for second dose of vaccine.
While waiting, i snap few pictures at VCD. Overall, the waiting time was not that long. The process was easy and smooth.
After gotten my next appointment date, i rushed out from KLCC straight to home. At rhis moment, i started to feel dizzy and nauseated. But was not that bad. I manage to drive home safely from KLCC.
On my way to car park, i snap few more pictures there.
I will snap more pictures on my second dose appointment.
