The swell picked up from the south so I took a walk out the long jetty between the San Gabriel river and Alamitos Bay

It's a long walk! The waves were even breaking in the boat channel on the big sets.

A few spring flowers were nice to see.

I didn't go all the way to the end. It's a tough walk in a sense. You really have to concentrate on each step you take. Luckily I remembered to wear shoes. You won't get far barefoot or in sandals.
