After playing around in Photoshop some more, I found some photograph that were just perfect to apply a motion blur on. Since the answer to everything is always "42", I multiplied it by ten and added that number to the motion blur that I applied to the photographs. Fun fact: I often use the number 420 on various filters/effects (got to represent the Dutch right).Even though these photographs have been retouched and are basically ready for print, it does feel "cheap" to apply a motion blur to these images. But, I have to admit, they only apply to very specific photographs. I tried it out on other photographs with a bit more noise in the background, or with more moody clouds, these spots end up being a blurry blob in the final result. The abstract part that the motion blur gives to these photographs is pretty OP.

Which one is your favorite?
Which one do you like better? The blue one, or the one with bright vibrant colors? Personally, I like the blue one better because it gives me a bit more of a calm vibe. Or perhaps it has something to do with being that there are only 2 dominant color tones in the photograph.
Cheers,
Ruben
