Nature / A n i m a l s

A gem that has been sitting on my computer for a long time. I remember the day. I was driving to Veenendaal to take some photographs of one of the nearby parks. It was close to Utrecht (I believe). On my way to the car, there were a few sheep getting guided by dogs. I couldn't help but take this shot in a hurry. You might not notice that they were being chased by dogs as this sheep is looking kinda chill, but in other shots, you can definitely see the expression of panic and fear. In post-edit I removed their labels, and did some color-correction, minor clean-ups, and that's all there is to it. I absolutely love this shot. It looks like a similar shot of mine that I made of a bunch of cows chilling in the snow.

Ever took a photograph around magic hour?
This photograph was taken when the Sun was about to go under. We call this magic hour, or the golden hour, as it usually takes about an hour or a little over one hour until the Sun sets. During this Sunset, particles of dust that are floating around in the skies are being illuminated by the Sun. This is what creates and makes these magnificent Sunsets so beautiful. It's always nice to photograph a bit before Sunset, softer Sunlight, more dusty particles, and more drama in your pictures!
Cheers,
Ruben
