Happy sunday my amazing peeps💝
Another week has passed and soon
a new week starts 🙈 work.. NO!
Anyone else feel like that on
sundays? Not yet.. Please!
But good thing is that you can do
things that makes you Smile.
Like this post I didn't plan but when
I looked back at last summers
pictures and realize I hadn't
shared them yet.
I knew I just had to 😉
I went with my parents to Hallamöllas
Nature Reserve that has a fantastic
view and pretty envirement.
The first post I did that was from
this place was the coffe house.

And next will be all waterfall, but this
is about a hilly landscape with lots
of woodland and big rocks.
But we start at the beginning!
Let's walk together shall we?
We start at the sign that tells you were
to go and also tells you what kind of
fish you can find here if you want
to explore that and go fishing.
This sign says that :
Migrating from the sea to the
Verkeån River to spawn.
In the autumn you can see their impressive jumps when they try
to climb up the waterfall in Hallamölla but without
any success
Upstream of the mill there is a
stationary brook trout
population.
Sea trout and brook trout are the
same species but they adapt
their appearance to the
environment in which
they live
A little fishy information 😜 lol
And here are some interesting info
and history about this place.
You are in Verkeåns western
reserve, Agusa-Hallamölla.
And here, Linderödsåsen, Jären and Andrarumsåsen is stretching out in a
hilly landscape with lots of forests.
The Verkeån River winds
its way through the reserve. It is unusually clean and species
rich for a Skåne river in an
agricultural area.
Shady trees and cool ground-
water keep the temperature down in
the summer, and swamp forests
along the river's banks act as
small purification plants.
Unusual fish and insects thrive
in this clear, oxygen-rich water.
Alun mill
The old Alum Mill in Andrarum was
the largest industry in Skåne in
the 18th century and it has left
its mark on the nature.
Slate was quarried from
the ground and alum was
extracted from it.
At the beginning of the 19th
century, the landscape was almost completely devoid of forests
because alum production
consumed so much
But in the steep ravines by the river, the trees were allowed to remain and became a haven for the forest's
plants and animals.
This Mill is right by the water and it
has a big wheel on one side into
the water but I never really
managed to capture that
as to many trees and
branches was in
my way 😜 lol
But the enviroment all around this
place is just incredlebly pretty.
And some cool looking tree!
This is a beautiful spot to sit and
enjoy the view as right beneth
is the river running.
And the waterfalls, but I won't show
you to much of that today as it is
coming in later post.
It was a beautiful day and it was my
very first time visiting this place so
I couldn't stop taking pictures.
A big climb but so worth it 😍
Even a little Cave-ish with amazing
stones all over inside 😍 WOW!
Absolutly got my attention there for
a minute or MAAANY 😊
And a magic forest and climb again
and I admit my legs after this day
was a little like jelly....
Weak and a little shaky 😁 lol
And from here you could see the
river and one of the waterfalls.
Beautiful right? 😍
#ILOVEITALOT
And now we reached Alun mill again
and I will show you some of the
water running here.
Pretty cool isn't it?
At this point we were hungry and
found a cool spot to rest and eat
some food and coffe 🍕🥐☕
And some really cool handmade
benches and stools.
And a table!
Beautiful view, amazing company
and some delicious food.
Can't get much better than that...
Ohh wait.... It can 😜
BUT...
That is for the next post from this
place where we finally go to the
waterfalls 😍 my favorite!
Thank you for reading and walking
with me, and I hope it made you
Smile a little and enjoying the
view like I did 😊
Earth was no earth before Mother
nature came, and beauty never
existed before she made her
magic known 🌺
