The name of our village is Monirampur. The village is located in the northwestern part of Jessore district. There is a big lake around to the village.

In the village, various fruit trees, vegetables, the call of birds in the morning, the twilight of the afternoon have made the village an island of peace.

Our village is a symbol of beauty of rural Bengal. The whole land of the village is flat. Occasionally the village is surrounded by various fruit trees and small and large bamboo bushes. The lake next to the village is the main source of life for most of the villagers. Their livelihood depends on fish from the lake.
