These days, the Villa de Alvarez Fair is being held in Colima, Mexico, and as is tradition, every day there are horseback rides from different parts of the state to the venue of these festivities. Despite many protests from residents about these horseback rides, due to the mess they leave behind, not to mention the traffic problems and the occasional issue caused by alcohol consumption, they continue to take place without fail at this time of year.
