Wow, it's been a while since I've posted on Hive. It's always my "insanity" season with my photography business this time of year. And this year has been even more busy than usual. In fact, the only reason I have time to write this is that my favorite computer mouse is charging and I'm using my old clunky mouse that gets things done but I hate using it for editing photos.
Anyway, I thought I'd share a few photos from the 4th of July, our Independence Day here in the USA. I was hired by my local Chamber of Commerce to shoot the small town parade where in live, in Truckee, California. It had been a while since I had attended the parade, I forgot how fun it was!
I shot many many more photos, here's a slideshow of them if you're curious: https://scottshotsphoto.photoshelter.com/embed?type=slideshow&G_ID=G0000hxiWjJtiCbQ
After the parade, I spent most of the day working on some of the photos so the event organizers could share some of them on social media asap. I then walked across the street from where I live and enjoyed the fireworks show at Donner Lake. It was a "blast"! Here's my favorite shot from the show:
Thanks for looking! Once things start slowing down, I'm sure I'll be back to posting here. In the meantime, enjoy the blockchain and I wish I was here more!
