Things have been looking beautiful around here. Most of the snow has melted, except for at higher elevations... Wildflowers are blooming. The weather has been perfect. My veggie garden has been planted. It's a time of year that I try to get outside with my camera often for sunsets and wildflowers.
After a muddy 4x4 drive to the meadow, I arrived a bit before sunset so I had some time for daytime blue-sky photos. It was a bit cloudy out but it looked like the perfect type of clouds that were going to eventually fire off with color.
Yes! The color started down low and I was able to find some streams in the meadow that were surrounded by the buttercup wildflowers and were reflecting the colors beautifully.
A little later, the clouds started exploding with color. I was incredibly happy at this moment, and very glad I made the last minute decision to drive out to the meadow after dinner.
Here's one more, this is the panoramic version. It is 22 vertical images, stitched together using a program called PTGui. It's a great program for stitching panoramas, a lot more options than Photoshop and it tends to do a much better job. These type of panos have very high resolution and can be printed huge!
A successful evening :) Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a great day!
