Quill dog and I got out yesterday for a quick 4x4 drive and hike to see how the camas wildflowers were doing. Sagehen Meadows, is a favorite area of mine, just about every year it has a big camas bloom, unless we have a very dry winter and spring. It's a great place to take a dog for a walk, I also took the Canon camera.
It's looking beautiful out there, but I'm not sure if I'll be going back this season. A lot of the bottom petals on the flowers were already starting to wilt and die.
