I had a beautiful short hike today above Lake Tahoe with my camera in hand. After a real estate photoshoot, I decided to take a little drive up toward Martis Peak and then walked down a trail out to this view spot. The Arrowleaf Balsamroot wildflowers were blooming quite nicely, so of course I had to set up the tripod and camera, and "work" a bit more.
These were both shot with a Canon 5DS R and a 24-105mm lens. Both shot at ISO 200, a lens aperture of f/11, and the shutter speed was 1/320 of a second in order to freeze the flowers in the breeze. They are also both available as large fine art prints, just click the image title and it will bring you to the image on my website.
Yes, it's been a while since I've shot any new photos and posted here on Hive. My health and life has kept things interesting lately. But I am feeling much better and I was incredibly happy to get out for a little bit with the camera. This location would make for a great sunrise or sunset scene, I hope to be back...
Thanks for looking and I hope you are all having a great day!
