Hail to the Hive!

We had a very late arrival in Cairo last night and as we are staying in Giza, there was a bit of a taxi ride after the late landing before we arrived at our hotel at 4am. A quick check in and a nighttime peek at the pyramids from the rooftop and then zzzzzz sleepy time. Well al be it briefly.

Cairo is pretty noisy though so I dragged myself out of bed for a rooftop breakfast leaving Hive account@millycf1976 in the room doing her own stuff but I needn’t have worried about eating alone as I had a little friend join me. My own little furry sphinx.

So as tired as I was, and still am, I ate quietly staring at the ancient wonders, lost in thought. And all the while having my breakfast stared at by my new furry friend.

Feeling bleary, tired and stretched a bit thin this morning but with a view like this and furry company and the promise of the Pyramid sound and light show later, I don’t feel the need to do much today. Tomorrow an early start and a wander around the old pointy buildings. For now, more coffee.
