Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shots, from a new location and it is the MCAS Miramar Air Show I traveled to a few weeks back, I got some cool shots to show and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. Again my 400mm telephoto lens broke, so I was using a 300mm lens from my buddy but I got some good shots, and some okay ones to show off from what I captured in my very early photography career. What I have here is the United States Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey, no not the bird that I have been showing off for along time with fish in its talons but the metal bird or should I say helicopter or should I just say aircraft but it is metal, haha. So nice to finally get up close to a few of these and I am sure their will be more posts on them in the future but for now here are some of my favorite shots I captured, but remember it was overcast, foggy or hazy this day was but I tried my best to get these images. This is such a unique aircraft and even better to get my own images of them. The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is American and is a multi-use military transport and cargo aircraft, the feature on it is that it can vertically takeoff and land, as well sort takeoff and landing like a plane. It can cruise slow like a helicopter or high speed cruise with its turboprops make it a pretty cool aircraft. This aircraft started entering its military services in the 2000's and I am sure I got these pictures but I will say this it is so hard to get the turboprops to slow down with the slow shutter speed and get them moving in the image. The cover shot here though I got the coolest effect of them props doing their thing in an image and it is the only one like this that I got I believe, still have more images to edit but if you look close you can see the nice circular rotation of the props. So dang cool and very happy with the image, regardless of the blue skies. One day I will for sure and purchase the PC version of Photoshop and try to bring those prop movements out even more, then print this one. I absolutely love this one right here, for it is so hard to get this action right here. I have also yet to see any of my photography buddies post one like this, not saying I am better barbecue I have many things to learn in my early age of photography but I am proud of this one. In the next shot below, its alright not as cool as the cover but it was landing really hazy and I did edit this one the best I could. Love to see the old aircraft bone yard parts behind this shot too, so cool.
In this last shot of the USMC MV-22 Osprey Demo, we got movement of the props and still hard to get anything of what movement looks like but it is at a bad direction, still a cool shot of this amazing aircraft at work. Anyways expect another post or two later on down the road, thank you all for stopping by and to you all have a blessed one.
